Mrs. Thapa is an accomplished sociologist, PhD Scholar and activist with a career built on empowering marginalized populations, advancing gender equality, and driving evidence-based social research. Her research portfolio highlights critical human rights issues, including gender-based violence, political participation of sexual minorities, and the intersection of COVID-19 and human trafficking in Nepal (in collaboration with the University of Nottingham and Terre des Hommes). In executive leadership, Mrs. Thapa has served as Executive Director of Gramin Mahila Srijanshil Pariwar (GMSP), directing multi-sectoral programs in education, emergency relief, and anti-human trafficking. She also managed public engagement during Nepal’s constitutional drafting process with Developing Democracy in Nepal. Beyond civil society, Mrs. Thapa has contributed to national policy as Chairperson of NPEDC and a Council Member of the Social Welfare Council. Today, she continues her governance work as the Central Committee Treasurer of the NGO Federation of Nepal. A skilled trainer and international speaker, she represents Nepali civil society globally across professional networks like APWLD and AATWIN.

Mr. Dhakal is an Advocate, a PhD scholar in Sociology with strong MBA background specializing in Organization Chain Management and Human Resource Management. With nearly two decades of leadership experience in the cooperative sectors, he has expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, governance, policy advocacy, and institutional management. His research interests include economic sociology, cooperative management, sustainable economic development, and public policy. He is committed to strengthening cooperative institution through evidence based strategies, effective leadership, and policy innovation that foster inclusive and sustainable development.

Mrs. Joshi is a dedicated human rights advocate, social activist, election observer, and organizational leader with more than two decades of experience in social justice, women’s rights, peacebuilding, democracy, and community development. She holds an MPhil in Sociology from Tribhuvan University, a Master’s degree in Sociology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sociology. She has served as a Board Central Committee Member of the National Human Rights Foundation (HURFON) since 2019, providing strategic leadership, organizational oversight, and advocacy on human rights, women’s and children’s rights, and the protection of conflict victims. She has also been actively involved with the National Election Observation Committee (NEOC), where she has served as Vice President and contributed to election observation, observer training, reporting, and coordination with relevant stakeholders. Anuradha is also a Life Member of the Nepal India Friendship Association, a Central Committee Member of SHANTIMALIKA – Women Network for Peace, and Secretary of Dang Kathmandu Newar Samaj. Through her leadership and advocacy, she continues to promote human dignity, inclusive participation, peaceful societies, accountable governance, and democratic values in Nepal.
